How to win the lottery faster

You might have heard the story about the scientists who got together in an effort to win the lottery.  I'm not sure if this actually happened but basically the scientists found that the best way to play the lotto was to play all the numbers over as many tickets as it took to play all the numbers. They were playing a pick 6 lotto of some kind so what they did was draw 49 numbers one at a time and filled the wheel like this:

    • In effect all the numbers that could possibly be drawn are on the tickets you are holding and the game is now to pick new numbers each draw and play a sort of 9$ quick pick.  This really doesn't work well for winning smaller prizes because you find all the time your numbers are completely spread out and you have the same odds as if you bought 9 quick picks.

    If you are playing this system on payday however the odds for the smaller prizes increase 20 fold while insuring that all the numbers are played in the top prize category.  Here is what that wheeling system would look like:
